So now in Newcastle where i currently live it’s about a five minute walk to the ‘town’ or ‘city centre’ should i say which is amazing! (for convenience) I wandered there on friday as i was told to gather supplies for one of my lectures next week where i have to create a mock-up installation: things such as extra strong glue, a cutting board, scalpel and cotton buds (strange). . . Anyway i was feeling quite lethargic about this as i was totally sick of seeing the town quite frankly. But then to my surprise as i turned the corner on to Monument there was a market! I absolutely love markets which is why i should probably live somewhere like Camden just the sense of a huge collaboration of home made goods and the smell of different cultures filling the air with tasty fresh food and soothing incense, it just brings a huge smile to my face! I took a few photo’s sneakily of the kinds of things I seen it was extremely bizarre and interesting there was even a Jester parading round the streets feeding a ferret a pot noodle. Also i think market’s can be very fashionable places you always see quirky people and interesting outfits.
Ginger wine, my new favourite drink ever it is so nice, like christmas in a bottle, i bought two i love their little plaid hats.
This fudge looked amazing, i really wanted some but it was so bloody expensive!
Potatoes and onions in spices, mmmm
I wish i got a toadstool keyring now!
